Not to be mistaken for standard gold plating, our Vermeil features a luxurious thick layer of 18k Solid Gold over 925 Sterling Silver. 

 

This thicker finish ensures greater durability, so your jewellery lasts longer while giving you the radiant look and feel of gold jewellery at a more accessible price.

Proactive care is key. Clean your pieces regularly by wiping them with a soft, dry polishing cloth.

 

Note: Apply gentle pressure when cleaning and don't over polish as polishing cloths can be abrasive.

Gold Vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is a premium form of gold plating. To be considered gold vermeil, jewellery must have a thick layer of gold — at least 2.5 microns over Sterling Silver.

 

At Alyra, we use 18k Gold Vermeil, which means your jewellery is crafted with higher-quality gold than many standard plated pieces.

Are your pieces safe for sensitive skin?
